Attending Evoke

Everything you need to know before joining the party – especially if it’s your first time, you’re under 18, or want to understand what kind of behavior we expect from everyone at the party.

Under 18

We’re happy to see young visitors interested in the demoscene!

If you’re under 18 and plan to attend without a parent or legal guardian, you’ll need a signed declaration of consent to enter the party location.

Contact us and we’ll provide the necessary form and information.

If you’re under 18 but accompanied by a parent or guardian, no extra paperwork is needed.

First Time at a Demoparty?

Welcome! Evoke is a great place to get to know the demoscene in real life. We’re friendly, open, and always happy to welcome new people.

What to expect:

  • Real-time digital art & music
  • People of all ages and backgrounds
  • A laid-back, open atmosphere
  • Barbecue, coffee, music and random demoscene chaos

Never hesitate to talk to someone or ask questions – we were all new once!

Code of Conduct

We are committed to making Evoke an inclusive and welcoming event so everyone can have a great time and feel comfortable, regardless of their gender, appearance, sexuality, Atari or Amiga.

We expect everyone at the party to act responsibly and with respect towards each other. Discrimination, harassment or violence of any kind will not be tolerated.

Please be mindful of people’s boundaries and act according to the Consent Principle: Actions and conversations only take place in mutual agreement. If someone asks you to stop, you stop. It’s that easy.

If you witness inappropriate behavior, feel uncomfortable, bothered or unsafe, talk to the Infodesk Team. We will not judge and will be happy to help. If you see someone else in need of support, ask if they need assistance or speak to the Infodesk Team.

With the purchase of your ticket you agree to follow these simple rules. We reserve the right to expel and sanction anyone who can’t follow the basic principle of not being a jerk. No refunds, no reboots.
